Spring of Water

Recently, my father and I made a day trip to Popular Bluff and Van Buren, Missouri. I took the following photos at Big Spring one part of the National Park Service’s Ozark National Scenic Riverways: for more information

Watching and hearing the massive amounts of water coming from an underground river to the surface was amazing. God’s creation holds many wonders! Quotes are from Oswald Chamber’s Devotional:

First three photos: the point wherein the water emerges.

How does water make it’s way to this massive spring? God created a Kurst Topopgraphy in the area around Van Buren, Missouri.

Quick Video of the water as it emerges!

Listen to sound of the water! It’s amazing how calming, soothing, and healing it can be. I combine three separate quick views for you:

The one true mark of a saint of God is the inner creativity that flows from being totally surrendered to Jesus Christ. In the life of a saint there is this amazing Well, which is a continual Source of original life.

Is God’s well flowing through your life?

Fresh Flowing Water

Smaller flows join the main spring in the flow.

The Spirit of God is a Well of water springing up perpetually fresh.

Holy Spirit flows “fresh” life into our lives!

Multiple Small Hazards

The blue color of the water is due to the limestone rocks and minerals in the water!

The entire area has numerous limestone boulders.

Pool of Fresh, Flowing Water

f you abandon everything to Jesus, and come when He says, “Come,” then He will continue to say, “Come,” through you. You will go out into the world reproducing the echo of Christ’s “Come.” That is the result in every soul who has abandoned all and come to Jesus.

Newer Bridge

View from Bridge

Out of frame, baby geese and ducks were on the grass and water’s edge. I kept a distance in order to not disturb the wildlife.

Rock Faces

Notice how even in the rock, the fern grows! Photos taken along the Slough Trail.

The Boulders and rock faces were covered with various types of moss and plant life. Quartz and other minerals were visible within the rock materials.

A saint realizes that it is God who engineers his circumstances; consequently there are no complaints, only unrestrained surrender to Jesus. Never try to make your experience a principle for others, but allow God to be as creative and original with others as He is with you.

Chambers

Water and plant life are present even in the rocks. Are you thriving where God has planted you? God works creatively in our lives and those around us!

Trail Photos

Area was well maintained and clearly marked! I would advise bringing a hiking stick to help stabilize yourself on the rock steps and pathways. This path provides great views! There are multiple pathways to the water below.

Have I come to Him? Will I come now?

God’s Promise: Revelation 22:1-5

Berean Standard Bible, Bible Hub

The River of Life

1Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2down the middle of the main street of the city. On either side of the river stood a tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit and yielding a fresh crop for each month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

3No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be within the city, and His servants will worship Him. 4They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.
